A new trailer of Marvel Studios’ new series, Secret Invasion, has been released—and we see Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson) take on a new challenge without the help of his trusty Avengers.
“This war is one I have to fight. Alone.”
Secret Invasion, which premieres on June 21 on Disney+, is set in the present-day MCU, where Fury learns of a clandestine infiltration of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting aliens called Skrulls. Fury joins his allies, including Everett Ross (Martin Freeman), Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders), and the Skrull Talos (Ben Mendelsohn), who has made a life for himself on Earth. Together they race against time to thwart an imminent Skrull invasion and save humanity.
Secret Invasion also stars Kingsley Ben-Adir, Charlayne Woodard, Killian Scott, Samuel Adewunmi, Dermot Mulroney, Christopher McDonald, Katie Finneran, with Emilia Clarke and Olivia Colman, and Don Cheadle.
