Anime fans have plenty to look forward to in the second half of 2026 as SM North EDSA brings four major franchises to Manila through its Animezing North 2026 event series, including the first official Philippine activations for Solo Leveling and Kaiju No. 8.
Kicking off the lineup is Solo Leveling, which runs from July 3 to 14 at The Block Atrium. The event gives fans a chance to step into the world of Sung Jinwoo through themed installations, interactive activities, photo spots and official merchandise.
The celebrations continue with another first in August as Kaiju No. 8 takes over the venue from August 3 to 16.
Later that month, One Piece returns for its fourth official run at SM North EDSA from August 18 to 30, while Pokémon closes out the year with a holiday-themed comeback in December.
Now in its fourth year, Animezing North serves as SM North EDSA’s flagship series of officially licensed anime events. Each activation features franchise-inspired exhibits, interactive experiences and exclusive merchandise, giving local fans new ways to engage with some of Japan’s most popular titles without leaving the country.
The 2026 lineup follows a successful 2025 edition that featured One Piece, Pokémon, DAN DA DAN, and Jujutsu Kaisen. The program was later recognized with a Bronze Stevie Award for Innovation in Cultural or Community Events at the 2026 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards in Macau.
