Yamaha Motor Philippines (YMPH) proudly showcased its local motorsport athletes at the inaugural Philippine Sports Expo recently held at the Crystal Pavilion in Okada Manila.

UMA MMR Yamaha Racing Team April King Mascardo and Gian Carlo Mauricio and Japan Leg Race 2 Champion John Emerson Inguito were present at the event. McKinley Kyle Paz joined in via zoom from Portugal, where he is competing at thethe FIM JRGP European Championships.

The Philippine Sports Expo gathered the country’s athletes and stakeholders to celebrate their significant contributions to the sports industry.

Yamaha has been developing Filipino motorsports athletes for more than a decade now. It has nurtured Filipino motorsports athletes, beginning with a grassroots program that provided opportunities for competition and skill enhancement. Today, Yamaha’s roster of international riders is representing the Philippines in top global races.

“The Philippines is one step closer to the European World Championship which is the next step in their development plan. That is due to the hard work of the Yamaha Philippine Racing Team and all its partners who are at the forefront of the Race your Flag Campaign,” YMPH said in a press statement.
