HUAWEI has confirmed that the Pura 90s Series will launch in the Philippines on August 20, with pre-orders opening ahead of the release through the HUAWEI Online Store and major e-commerce platforms.
Customers can reserve the flagship smartphone from July 30 until 8pm on August 7 by placing a P500 deposit, which unlocks up to P4,000 in savings when the remaining balance is paid between August 7 and August 20 via the HUAWEI Online Store. Starting July 30, shoppers can also claim P2,000 vouchers on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
Marketed as the brand’s new “King of Imaging,” the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series introduces next-generation camera technology, AI-powered photography features, 5G connectivity, and enhanced durability.
Leading the lineup is the HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max, equipped with a 200MP Ultra Large Sensor Telephoto Camera featuring a 1/1.28-inch RYYB sensor, 20x telephoto zoom, and CIPA 7.0 image stabilization for improved long-range photography and steadier zoom videos. This is paired with a 50MP Ultra Lighting HDR Camera and an upgraded True-to-Colour Camera for more accurate colors and improved backlit photography.
The Pura 90s Pro, on the other hand, offers flagship-level imaging through a 50MP Ultra Lighting Macro Telephoto Camera capable of focusing as close as 5 centimeters for detailed macro shots.
Across the series, HUAWEI is introducing new AI photography tools, including AI Composition, AI De-Glare, and AI Move, alongside the enhanced Celia AI assistant.
The smartphones also feature 5G connectivity, a 6000mAh battery, 100W HUAWEI SuperCharge, and 60W wireless charging. The Pro Max model is protected by Anti-Reflective, Scratch-Resistant Kunlun Glass.
