After a seven-year break, the Yamaha National Technician Grand Prix (NTGP) is back to shine a spotlight on the outstanding skill, dedication, and expertise of Yamaha’s top mechanics from across the country.
Set to take place on May 17 at Festival Mall Alabang – East Hall, the NTGP reaffirms Yamaha Motor Philippines’ commitment to service excellence and technician development.

The NTGP gathers the best certified mechanics from Yamaha dealerships nationwide, all trained under the globally recognized Yamaha Technical Academy (YTA). The competition tests their technical know-how, problem-solving abilities, and customer service expertise.
This year’s NTGP finalists were selected from a pool of 345 participants through a three-stage process: dealership-level pre-qualifying, regional written exams, and the final round of top scorers. The Top 10 finalists advancing to the national stage are:

- Rodelio D. Cruz | 3S MNC RODRIGUEZ
- Leo Dumalag | 3S CDO 2 CYCLE, LAPASAN CDO

The national winner will represent Yamaha Motor Philippines in the prestigious Yamaha World Technician Grand Prix in Japan, where he will compete against elite technicians from Yamaha’s global network.
