Get ready to race! Xiaomi and Polyphony Digital have announced a landmark partnership at Round One of the Gran Turismo World Series 2025. This collaboration brings the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, Xiaomi EV’s premier high-performance luxury electric vehicle, to Gran Turismo 7 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. This marks the first time a Xiaomi vehicle will be featured in the globally celebrated racing simulator.

Gran Turismo, one of the world’s most authentic driving simulators, is celebrated for its real-world mirroring of vehicle engineering and performance. Beyond gaming, the platform influences vehicle development, dynamics, and safety innovation. The inclusion of Xiaomi SU7 Ultra reflects the rise of smart high-performance EVs in the automotive industry.

At the partnership announcement event, Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi highlighted Xiaomi SU7 Ultra as a standout in the smart EV segment, noting that its competitive performance at the Nürburgring Nordschleife demonstrates Xiaomi EV’s formidable engineering capabilities.

Xiaomi completed its “Human x Car x Home” ecosystem in 2024 with the launch of its first smart EV, the Xiaomi SU7. The flagship Xiaomi SU7 Ultra showcases proprietary innovations, including Xiaomi’s self-developed tri-motor configuration system featuring the HyperEngine V8s (27,200 rpm; 570hp; 635Nm). With a staggering 1,527hp, a top speed exceeding 350kph, and 0–100kph acceleration in just 1.98 seconds, the SU7 Ultra holds multiple track records for four-door vehicles.

The SU7 Ultra will be fully integrated into Gran Turismo 7 through a co-development process with Xiaomi EV to ensure authenticity in aesthetics and handling. Xiaomi and Gran Turismo also announced plans to co-develop the Xiaomi VISION GRAN TURISMO concept vehicle.
