Warner Bros. Pictures has unveiled the first trailer for Wonka, the upcoming film that delves into the extraordinary story of the world’s beloved chocolate-maker.
Starring Timothée Chalamet as Willy Wonka, the movie brings a fresh take on the iconic role as it explores the origin and journey of the enigmatic character.

Directed by Paul King (Paddington, Paddington 2), the film also stars Calah Lane, Keegan-Michael Key, Paterson Joseph, Matt Lucas, Mathew Baynton, Sally Hawkins, Rowan Atkinson, Jim Carter, and Olivia Colman. Hugh Grant plays a grumpy Oompa-Loompa.
Wonka, distributed in the Philippines by Warner Bros. Pictures, hits Philippine cinemas on January 8, 2024.
