Warner Bros. has dropped the latest trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore—the long-awaited third film in the Fantastic Beasts series, which will detail the untold backstory of Professor Albus Dumbledore for the first time.
The latest preview is full of villains and magic and includes a closer look at Mads Mikkelsen as Grindelwald, Jude Law as Dumbledore, Ezra Miller as Aurelius Dumbledore, and Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander.
It also teases a return to Hogwarts while showcasing several familiar locations such as Hogsmeade, The Great Wall, and the Room of Requirement. Oh, and we also get a glimpse of the golden snitch.
In the film, Professor Dumbledore knows the Grindelwald is moving to seize control of the wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, Dumbledore entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches, and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is directed by David Yates from a screenplay by J.K. Rowling & Steve Kloves. It will hit Philippine theaters on April 16.
