The 2026 Philippines Hot Wheels Collectors Convention brought two days of die-cast collecting, car culture, and interactive experiences to the Crystal Pavilion at Okada Manila on September 5 and 6, drawing collectors, enthusiasts, families, and fans.

Organized with Richprime Global Inc. and Metrics, this year’s convention expanded beyond traditional collecting with full-size vehicle displays, interactive attractions, exclusive collectibles, and new brand experiences.

One of the event’s highlights was a 1:1 Nissan Skyline GT-R-inspired Hot Wheels display featuring the official 2026 Hot Wheels convention car, one of the limited releases available across Malaysia, Australia, the Philippines, China, Singapore, and Indonesia.

Customized and enthusiast-owned vehicles from Decal Republic further connected the miniature world of Hot Wheels with real-world automotive culture.

The convention also marked the Philippine launch of the Mattel Brick Shop, giving visitors an opportunity to explore building sets inspired by Hot Wheels’ automotive designs. A dedicated Hot Wheels Let’s Race area offered track-based activities, themed displays, and interactive play centered on the Netflix animated series.

7-Eleven Philippines also joined the convention as an official partner, showcasing its Hot Wheels collaboration alongside a life-size Hot Wheels-inspired vehicle.

Collectors had the opportunity to meet Brendon Vestuskey, Hot Wheels lead designer, during signing and sketching sessions. Fans were able to have their collectibles signed and receive personalized artwork from the designer.

Meanwhile, the collector marketplace remained a major draw, with vendors offering a wide selection of Hot Wheels cars, rare finds, sought-after releases, and other collectibles.

Attendees were able to buy, sell, trade, and hunt for hard-to-find pieces while connecting with fellow collectors.
