After a number of delays, Top Gun: Maverick is finally coming in for a landing in Philippine cinemas on May 25.

In the latest trailer released by Paramount Pictures, we see Tom Cruise’s iconic Pete “Maverick” Mitchell as a teacher—recruited to train a class of elite young pilots upon the request of Admiral Tom “Iceman” Kazansky (Val Kilmer).

The trailer also explores the rift between Maverick and Lt. Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw (Miles Teller), a pilot trainee and the son of Maverick’s late best friend, Nick “Goose” Bradshaw. “My dad believed in you. I’m not gonna make the same mistake,” Rooster tells Maverick in the trailer.

Directed by Joseph Kosinski, Top Gun: Maverick also stars Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, Glen Powell, Lewis Pullman, Charles Parnell, Bashir Salahuddin, Monica Barbaro, Jay Ellis, Danny Ramirez, Greg Tarzan Davis with Ed Harris.

Top Gun: Maverick, the sequel to the 1986 movie, is distributed in the Philippines by Paramount Pictures through Columbia Pictures.
