Few animated films have stayed with audiences quite like The Land Before Time. First released in 1988, Don Bluth’s beloved classic has endured for generations, its story of friendship, courage, and loss leaving a lasting mark on children who grew up with Littlefoot and his dinosaur friends.

For many millennials, the film also delivered a particularly devastating childhood milestone: watching a parent die on screen for the first time. Littlefoot’s heartbreaking separation from his mother remains one of animation’s most unforgettable moments, introducing young viewers to grief in a way that was as painful as it was formative.

Now, the classic is returning to the big screen exclusively at select Robinsons Movieworld branches on October 9 to 11, October 16 to 18, and October 23 to 25.

The 1-hour-9-minute adventure follows Littlefoot, Cera, Ducky, Petrie, and Spike as they journey through a dangerous prehistoric world in search of the Great Valley, where food and safety await. Along the way, the young dinosaurs learn to overcome their differences, rely on one another, and find hope even in the face of loss.

More than a dinosaur adventure, The Land Before Time is a coming-of-age story whose emotional honesty and enduring message have allowed it to rise above generations of animated releases. Its return offers longtime fans a chance to revisit a childhood favorite—and a new generation the opportunity to discover why it has remained a classic for nearly four decades.

The film will screen at Opus Premier Cinemas, Robinsons Magnolia, Robinsons Antipolo, Robinsons Galleria Ortigas, Robinsons Tuguegarao, and Robinsons Galleria Cebu.
