Been wanting to get a Suzuki S-Presso but are deterred by the thought of driving a manual in traffic, your prayers have been answered.
Suzuki Philippines has finally brought to the country the Automatic Gear Shift (AGS) variant of the tiny hatchback.
The new S-Presso AGS combines the benefit of an automatic gearbox with the frugality of a traditional manual transmission—minus a third pedal. AGS enables a manual transmission to do automated gear changes or shifting without the driver needing to step on the clutch pedal and using the shift lever.
Apart from AGS, the new S-Presso also has a new 1.0L K10C engine (66hp, 89Nm) equipped with Engine Auto Stop Start System (EASS) that automatically stops the engine when the vehicle is idle.
Other amenities in the S-Presso include a touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rear parking sensors, and hill-hold control, electronic stability program, and a 239-liter luggage space.
The new S-Presso AGS is priced at P660,000 and is available in four colors: Sizzle Orange, Metallic Granite Gray, Fire Red, and White. Those who prefer a manual transmission can get the 2023 S-Presso M/T variant for P620,000.
