Over a thousand motorcycle enthusiasts roared into Davao City on June 9 for the Raider Big Ride – Mindanao.
The event, organized by Suzuki Philippines, celebrated the enduring reign of the Suzuki Raider R150 as the Philippines’ “Underbone King” for more than two decades.
The Mindanao leg brought together 1,124 Raider R150 riders from across Mindanao, creating a 3-kilometer long convoy that snaked through the city. Participating motorcycle clubs included the R150 Raider Fi Club, Allied Raider R150 Riders Club, Davao Riders Club, and many more.
Motovloggers Reed Motovlog and Kumander Daot, along with well-known Davao riders, also joined the festivities.
The riders embarked on a scenic 35km journey from Roxas Avenue to Panabo Gym, Davao Del Sur. The ride culminated in a grand celebration at the Panabo Gym, with fun activities and games for the riders.
Suzuki also raffle off a brand new V-STROM 250 SX motorcycle, which went to lucky winner Alexander Maulana.
The Mindanao leg of the Raider Big Ride marks the second chapter in Suzuki’s celebration of the Raider R150’s dominance in the Philippine market. The first leg, held in Luzon, was participated in by over 1,000 riders.
