Suzuki Philippines marked the beginning of its 50th anniversary celebration with the One Suzuki Kick-Off Ride, a two-day event held last January 28 and 29. The event brought together representatives from Suzuki’s Motorcycle, Automobile, and Marine divisions, along with top media personalities and influencers.
“Suzuki has been part of the lives of millions of Filipinos for five decades. From motorcycles to automobiles to marine products, our vehicles have become life companions—on and beyond the road,” said Suzuki Philippines President Koichiro Hirao.
“Today, we invite you to experience the full breadth of the Suzuki story and continue to build a brighter future together.”
The ride began at Suzuki’s Canlubang, Laguna plant, with motorcycle media experiencing various models like the Raider R150 Fi, Smash Fi, Burgman Street, GIXXER Series, and V-STROM 250 SX. Meanwhile, automotive media drove the Jimny 5-Door and XL7 Hybrid to Pico de Loro.
After lunch, attendees enjoyed an exciting boat ride on Suzuki’s high-performance outboard motors. Nine speedboats powered by Twin DF300 and DF350 engines took them across the waters of Nasugbu, Batangas, ending at sunset with breathtaking ocean views.
The first day concluded with a beachfront dinner and social gathering, while the second day featured test drives of Suzuki’s motorcycles and automobiles.
The One Suzuki Kick-Off Ride marks the beginning of a year-long celebration, with a larger anniversary event planned for mid-2025. Suzuki also hinted at new model launches during its golden year.
