Smart is getting into the AI wearables game, becoming the first telco in the Philippines to bundle AI-powered smart glasses with a postpaid plan.
Beginning May 29, customers can get the Rokid AI Glasses through select Smart Postpaid and Infinity plans, thanks to Smart’s exclusive partnership with Rokid.
The lightweight wearable comes with built-in access to Google Gemini, which allows users to ask questions, generate ideas, translate languages in real time, manage tasks, and search for information using voice commands—all without pulling out a smartphone.
The international version of the glasses also supports other AI platforms such as ChatGPT, DeepSeek, and Qwen.
At 49g, the Rokid AI Glasses are designed for daily wear. Travelers can use them for navigation and real-time translation, while creators can shoot POV content using the built-in 12MP camera and private audio system. The device also includes AI transcription and teleprompter features for work and presentations.
New and existing subscribers of Smart Postpaid Plan+ 1499 can avail of the Rokid AI glasses starting at P28,800 via straight payment.
With Smart Postpaid Plan+ 1499, subscribers can make the most of their Rokid AI Glasses with 40GB open-access data, Unli 5G data for 12 months, Unli AllNet Calls and Texts, and Unli Landline Calls, as well as access to exclusive lifestyle rewards and treats under the Smart Postpaid Perks Program.
On the other hand, Smart Infinity members can get the Rokid AI Glasses complimentary on Plan 8000, alongside true unlimited data, consumable allocations for premium subscriptions and in-app purchases, and data roaming.
As part of the Infinity experience, members are also accorded elevated privileges, including a personal Relationship Manager, 24/7 dedicated hotline, priority store assistance, curated partner rewards, and seamless lifestyle services through Infinity Concierge via *800.
