PUMA’s new Speedcat Ballet made a stylish debut at Copenhagen Fashion Week, a unique design that leaps between the classic Mary Jane aesthetic and the sleek, motorsport-inspired Speedcat.
The Speedcat Ballet reimagines the traditional Mary Jane with an open forefoot secured by an elastic strap, maintaining a streamlined silhouette reminiscent of a ballet flat.

Previewed in several striking colorways, including sophisticated two-tone black and pink options and a bold silver that echoes the metallic sheen of Formula 1 race cars, the new design offers a fresh take on footwear.

PUMA’s latest creation also nods to the vibrant 1920s and era’s rebellious flappers, a time when the Mary Jane style gained significant popularity. By interweaving the DNA of this historical footwear with the Speedcat—originally launched in 1999 as a fireproof shoe favored by F1 drivers for its low-profile feel—PUMA is writing a new chapter for both styles.

The PUMA Speedcat Ballet in silver, pink, and black and pink will be available starting April 10 at P5,200 on PUMA.com and in select PUMA stores, including PUMA Bonifacio High Street, PUMA Shangri-La Plaza, PUMA SM North EDSA, as well as Foot Locker, Commonwealth, and Atmos.

Meanwhile, the Speedcat Ballet in white and black will be available exclusively at Foot Locker Glorietta and Greenhills.
