Global car brand Omoda & Jaecoo has arrived in the Philippines, bringing with them two head-turning crossovers: the Omoda 5 and the Omoda 5 EV.

“In addition to establishing our presence in the market, our initial showcases in the Philippines are a testament to Omoda & Jaecoo’s commitment to constructing a comprehensive brand-product-service ecosystem to meet the automotive needs of Filipino consumers,” said Marco Chen, country director of Omoda & Jaecoo Motor Philippines Inc.

The Omoda 5 EV, dubbed the “E-Future Ranger,” boasts a 61kWh battery and 430km WLTP/505km NEDC range. The vehicle supports DC fast charging, going from 30 to 80% in just 28 minutes.

Meanwhile, the Omoda 5 embodies style and innovation with its futuristic design, advanced features, and voice command technology..

Rise of the O-Universe and the first Pinoy OMODERS

OMODA’s launch event introduced the O-Universe, a global community where fashion and technology converge. The O-Universe is inhabited by “OMODERS,” a community of trailblazers who embrace innovation and express themselves through style.

The Media and Influencer Fashion Night 2024 saw celebrities, media personalities, and influencers gather to experience the Omoda brand firsthand. Spotted at the event were Filipina actress Arci Muñoz, actor and international model Gil Cuerva, actor Eli Padilla as well as fashion model and endorser Roxie Smith.

The event featured a street dance battle, a runway challenge, and immersive exhibits showcasing the O-Universe culture.

The Omoda 5 is priced at under P1.5 million and will be available in three variants soon. Meanwhile, the Omoda 5 EV is priced under P1.9 million.

Omoda will soon have a showroom in Taguig, Iloilo, and Clark, Pampanga.
