The iCAUR V27, an all-round hybrid SUV, received the Best Interior Design Award in the Premium Car Category at the 2026 Torino Automotive Design Award (TADA) on September 11 in Turin, Italy.
The recognition highlights the V27’s interior design, which combines a boxy SUV profile with an open cabin layout, digital technology, and practical features. It also reflects iCAUR’s “Future-Classic” design language, which brings together elements of classic SUV design with contemporary styling and technology.
Held in Turin, a city with a long automotive design heritage and ties to design houses such as Pininfarina and Italdesign, the TADA recognizes developments in automotive design, aesthetics, and future mobility.
Organized by Salone Auto Torino, the awards evaluate entries based on factors including creativity, functionality, and overall design expression. The V27’s recognition centers on how its interior design combines visual character with functionality and user-oriented features.
An “Interstellar Cockpit” interior
The V27’s interior follows iCAUR’s “Interstellar Cockpit” design concept. The cabin combines a commanding driving position and wide visibility with a more open and restrained layout.
Clean lines and soft-touch materials are used throughout the cabin, while the interior is designed to provide a sense of space for daily driving, family trips, and longer journeys.
The “Interstellar Porthole” dual panoramic sunroof is another feature of the cabin, allowing more natural light into the interior. According to iCAUR, its laminated glass blocks 99.9% of ultraviolet rays.
Technology is also integrated into the cabin through a 15.4-inch 2.5K HD central control screen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip. The display provides access to functions including navigation, infotainment, and climate control.
The V27 also incorporates AIMOGA, part of iCAUR’s approach to intelligent vehicle interaction. The system is intended to bring connected and intelligent functions into everyday driving while working alongside the vehicle’s digital interface and other cabin technologies.
Practical features for everyday use
The V27’s interior also includes several features focused on everyday practicality.
The cabin has 49 storage compartments for personal belongings, while the rear seats can fold completely flat to provide additional space for luggage and cargo. Eco-friendly soft-touch materials are also used throughout the interior.
These features complement the V27’s design approach by combining cabin aesthetics with storage, flexibility, and passenger comfort.
Building iCAUR’s global design portfolio
The TADA recognition adds to the design accolades received by iCAUR’s V Series. Earlier this year, the iCAUR V23 was recognized at the Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2026 for its boxy design.
The two models form part of iCAUR’s development of its “Future-Classic” design language, combining a recognizable SUV silhouette with contemporary interiors, technology, and practical features.
For iCAUR, the V27 award adds another international recognition to its design portfolio as the brand continues expanding into global markets.
