Twenty sim racers are set to battle it out for cash prizes and a shot at representing the Philippines on the regional stage as the 2026 Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines Esports GT Championship heads into its National Finals.
More than 400 sim racers from across the country joined this year’s qualifiers, with the finalists earning their spots by setting their fastest laps around Laguna Seca using the stock Toyota GR 86 in Gran Turismo.
The National Finals will pit the country’s top 10 Sporting Class and top 10 Junior Class players against each other as they chase championship honors and a place in Team Philippines for the Asia Finals.
Since its launch in 2020 as the GR GT Cup, the TGR Philippines Esports GT Championship has grown into a platform for competitive sim racing and grassroots motorsports development in the country. The tournament also provides a pathway from virtual racing to real-world competition, with winners given the opportunity to transition to TMP’s premier racing series, the TGR Philippine Cup, formerly known as the Vios Cup.

The National Finals take place on September 27 at Function Room 1, 2nd Floor, SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. The event is free and open to the public, with the action also livestreamed on the Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines Facebook Page.
The winner of each class will take home P100,000 and a spot in the Asia Finals as part of Team Philippines. The runner-up in each class will receive P75,000, while the final Team Philippines slot will go to the runner-up with the higher points total at the end of the National Finals.
