Acer is taking its flagship laptop lineup in a new direction with the Acer Googlebook 14, a 1.14 kg convertible laptop that combines a 3K OLED touchscreen, up to 16 hours of battery life, and built-in Gemini Intelligence features designed to make work and everyday tasks more seamless.
The Acer Googlebook 14 is the company’s first device in a new flagship Googlebook category and the industry’s first convertible Googlebook. Designed for the new Googlebook OS, it supports touch, keyboard, USI 2.0 stylus, voice, and traditional laptop interactions, while working closely with Android phones.
Its Gemini-powered features include Continue On, which lets users pick up tasks started on an Android phone, and Cast My Apps, which brings Android phone apps to the laptop without requiring installation. Context-aware actions and proactive suggestions can also provide personalized assistance based on what is displayed on screen.
Under the hood, the Googlebook 14 can be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor 355, featuring built-in AI engines and an NPU capable of up to 50 TOPS, paired with up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD storage. Its fast-charging battery delivers up to 16 hours of battery life.
The laptop features a 14-inch 3K OLED 16:10 touchscreen with 500-nit brightness, Corning Gorilla Glass, and USI 2.0 stylus support. DTS-tuned audio and dual upward-facing Acer Ultra Boost Stereo speakers complement the display.
Housed in an Elemental Blue aluminum-magnesium chassis, the Googlebook 14 measures just 13.9mm thin and weighs 1.14kg. Its 360-degree hinges support clamshell, tent, stand, and tablet modes.
Connectivity includes Intel Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, Thunderbolt 4 Type-C, and two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports. It also features a 5MP webcam with noise reduction, triple microphones, a privacy shutter, fingerprint reader, and Google Titan-C Security Chip.
The Googlebook 14 carries EPEAT Climate+, EPEAT, and Energy Star 9.0 certifications, uses 49% circular materials, and comes with 99% plastic-free packaging.
It also includes 12 months of Google AI Pro, providing expanded access to Gemini, Flow, Gemini Notebook, Gemini in Google apps, and 5TB of cloud storage.
Acer has yet to reveal pricing and availability for the Googlebook 14.
