In the wake of Tropical Storm Kristine, which wreaked havoc on several parts of the Philippines, Grab Philippines and MOVE IT stepped up to provide much-needed relief to thousands of affected families.

The leading superapp and homegrown moto-taxi platform distributed over 1,000 relief packages filled with essential supplies such as rice, canned goods, and hygiene kits to families—including drivers and local residents—in the hard-hit areas of Cavite and Laguna.

Grab and MOVE IT also have comprehensive calamity assistance programs designed to support their driver- and delivery-partners during these challenging times.

Through the GrabCares and MOVE IT Malasakit programs, partners can easily apply for assistance through a streamlined application process available on their driver app.

Aguinaldo Larioso, a community leader of MOVE IT riders, also takes pride in the community’s bayanihan spirit.
