Delivery platform foodpanda Philippines is marking Labor Day with a rider-focused initiative aimed at boosting earnings and encouraging customer appreciation.

On May 1, the company will double all in-app tips received by its Ka-panda partner riders nationwide, with 100% of tips going directly to them. The move comes as part of foodpanda’s efforts to provide added support amid rising daily costs, while also highlighting the important role riders play in everyday life.

“Our partner riders are the backbone of our business, and on Labor Day, we want their rewards to reflect their resilience,” said Patricia Jacinto, growth and marketing director of foodpanda Philippines.

“By doubling tips, we are joining forces with our customers to ensure that every Ka-panda feels the full weight of the country’s gratitude. In the face of rising costs, we aren’t just moving food—we’re moving forward together,” she added.

The initiative is part of the Panda-Malasakit Project, a broader campaign focused on supporting riders, customers, and partners through programs designed to create meaningful, everyday impact.
