Canon Marketing (Philippines), Inc. officially kicked off its 2025 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program with a coastal cleanup drive at Baseco Beach in Tondo, Manila.

The initiative, held in partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and the Asia Society for Social Improvement and Sustainable Transformation (ASSIST), mobilized around 50 Canon employee volunteers.

The volunteers collected plastic waste and other debris along the shoreline, aiming to help restore the coastal environment and raise awareness about ocean conservation and responsible waste management.

“This coastal cleanup reflects our collective responsibility to protect the environment and make a meaningful difference through purposeful action,” said Anuj Aggarwal, President and CEO of Canon Marketing (Philippines), Inc.

The CSR activity also included learning sessions led by representatives from DENR and ASSIST, covering topics such as waste segregation and recycling.
