Canon Philippines launched two new initiatives aimed at supporting Filipino content creators during its Creator Experience Day held on July 16. Held under the theme “One Canon. Many Stories.”, the event introduced Canon Creator Camp and the Canon Campus Tour, two programs designed to help aspiring and established creators develop their skills.
The programs are designed to help aspiring and established creators develop their skills through hands-on learning, community engagement, and access to Canon’s imaging technologies.
The Canon Campus Tour will bring product demonstrations, workshops, and learning sessions to schools and campuses nationwide, giving students the opportunity to experience Canon’s latest imaging tools firsthand.
Complementing the initiative is Canon Creator Camp, a community-focused program that offers creators opportunities to sharpen their craft and expand their creative pursuits.

The event also showcased Canon’s latest products for content creation, including the Canon EOS R6 V hybrid camera and the Canon PIXMA MegaTank printer series.

The EOS R6 V features a 32.5-megapixel sensor, open-gate recording, and active cooling designed for extended video production, while the PIXMA MegaTank printers offer wireless connectivity, touchscreen controls, and ink-efficient printing for creative, educational, and professional use.
Creator Experience Day also featured discussions with Filipino creators who shared how Canon products support their work. Filmmakers Karl Patacsil and Magic Liwanag discussed visual storytelling using the Canon EOS R6 V, while host and educator Nicole Shane Gonzales and digital illustrator James “Squeegool” Claridades highlighted the role of Canon PIXMA MegaTank printers in their creative workflows.

The program also included fireside discussions, interactive experience zones, networking sessions, and raffle activities, encouraging attendees to connect and explore creative work across photo, video, and print.
