Apple has debuted its new M5 chip across the 14-inch MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and Vision Pro headset. The latest silicon promises huge leaps in performance, AI capability, and efficiency
The refreshed 14-inch MacBook Pro now sports a 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU, boasting 3.5x faster AI performance than the M4 and 6x faster than the M1. Even the SSD is twice as fast as before. Starting at $1,599, the base model includes 16GB of unified memory and 512GB of storage, while top-tier builds offer 24GB RAM and 1TB storage—with optional upgrades like nano-texture glass and up to 4TB of SSD.

And then there’s the iPad Pro. Now with the M5 chip, it continues to blur the line between tablet and laptop. Available in 11- and 13-inch OLED 120Hz models, it features storage options up to 2TB and Apple’s N1 wireless chip, which combines Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thread for faster, more reliable connectivity.

Lastly, the Vision Pro headset gets a sharper, smoother upgrade—thanks to the M5’s improved graphics rendering and a 120Hz refresh rate. Battery life now stretches up to three hours, while a redesigned Dual Knit Band boosts comfort for extended use.
