Love is literally in the air this coming Valentine’s weekend as the 26th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta (PIHABF) floats back into New Clark City, Tarlac. From February 13–15, couples, families, and adventure lovers can expect three magical days of colorful balloons, live music, innovative showcases, and moments made for memory-making.
A Valentine’s weekend like no other
Timed perfectly for the season of love, the Fiesta offers a dreamy backdrop of hot air balloons rising at sunrise and glowing against the night sky. Balloons begin lifting off as early as 6:30am, rewarding early risers with a breathtaking morning spectacle.
Three days of sky-high adventure
For three full days, New Clark City transforms into a celebration of flight and fun. Expect not just hot air balloons, but a dynamic mix of drones, paragliders, paramotors, tech showcases, car displays, food fairs, and live music. It’s a festival that blends aviation, entertainment, and lifestyle—making it just as exciting on the ground as it is in the sky.
A Valentine’s dinner under the balloons
On February 14, couples are invited to take Valentine’s Day to new heights with a romantic dinner priced at P1,800 per person. With live band music setting the mood, flavorful dishes on the table, and a sky filled with color, the evening promises a truly memorable celebration of love.
Learn, fly, and be inspired
Aside from the spectacle, the Fiesta also feeds curiosity. The returning Aviation Seminar offers students, aviation enthusiasts, and professionals a chance to learn from experts about flight, safety, and the latest innovations in the industry. It’s educational, inspiring, and a perfect complement to the action-filled skies above.
Action in the air
Expect jaw-dropping aerial performances—from paragliding and paramotor displays to the futuristic Kyxz Hoverbike demo, giving festival-goers a glimpse of next-generation flying vehicles. The adrenaline continues with the Paragliding Accuracy Competition, FPV Drone Races, and the crowd-favorite Drone Soccer, where speed, skill, and strategy collide.

One of the Fiesta’s biggest draws is its lineup of whimsical hot air balloons. Making their Philippine debut are crowd-pleasers such as Spot Finley the Turtle (UK), Tuca the Toucan (Brazil), Red Macaw (Brazil), Blue Macaw (Brazil), and Walrus (Brazil).
Festivalgoers can also catch Master Zaba (UK), Gnome (North Macedonia), Winnie (UK), Iggy the Purple Baby Dragon (Netherlands), Te Amo (USA), Frank Boy (Brazil), Babbe the Witch (Belgium), Saxon (USA), Boo (USA), and Cupid’s Heart (Switzerland).
Fan favorites also return, including Yoda, Princess Nelly, Iggy Busby, Party, Bagger, and La Cartuja.

When you’re not looking up, there’s plenty to explore below. Enjoy car shows, drifting exhibitions, kite-flying demos, and the bustling Fly Market filled with food stalls and unique local finds. As night falls, live music turns the venue into a lively festival scene.
