Toyota Motor Philippines continues to expand its hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) lineup with the introduction of the all-new Toyota Zenix.

The 7-seater MPV is basically the next-generation Innova (it still bears the “Innova” badge at the back) but is offered in gasoline and hybrid variants. The older, diesel-powered Innova will still be sold alongside it.

The Zenix features a sporty exterior with its large large hexagonal grille, raised hood line, and 17- (2.0V CVT) or 18-inch (2.0 Q Hybrid CVT) alloy wheels.

The hybrid variant gets exclusive LED DRLs, overfenders, and chrome body accents.

Both variants also have a Push Start ignition system and Smart Entry for easier access.

Equipped with the latest Toyota Safety Sense (TSS), the Zenix HEV provides peace of mind with safety features such as pre-collision system, lane departure alert, and dynamic radar cruise control. It also comes with panoramic view monitor, blind spot monitor, and rear cross traffic alert.

Both variants feature ABS with EBD, traction control, hill-start assist, parking sensors, and electric power steering.

Inside, the HEV features captain seats with a power ottoman and power recline, complete with a side table for easy access of handheld items.

The third-row seats of both variants can also be folded flat to provide more storage.

Meanwhile, the dashboard features a 7-inch multi-info display and 10.1-inch infotainment display with Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay.

The all-new Zenix will be available in all 72 Toyota dealerships nationwide:

  • 2.0 Q Hybrid CVT: P1,953,000
  • 2.0 V CVT: P1,670,000

The HEV variant comes in Platinum White Pearl Mica, Blackish Brown Mica, and Dark Steel Mica, while the gas variant is available in Platinum White Pearl Mica, Silver Metallic, Gray Metallic, and Attitude Black Mica.
