The Yamaha Philippines Racing Team wrapped up its 2025 Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) campaign at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand, closing the season with the same grit, pride, and determination they showed all year. It wasn’t an easy finale, but the team pushed through every lap, proudly carrying the Philippine flag on one of Asia’s most challenging race tracks.
In the SS600 class, McKinley Kyle Paz capped off his season with a steady and determined performance in both Race 1 and Race 2, racing in a highly competitive field. Paz finished the year 8th overall in the championship, once again proving why he’s considered one of the Philippines’ top international riders.
He also played a key role in his Hong Leong Yamaha Racing Team, securing the SS600 Constructors Championship, while teammate Kasma Daniel claimed the Riders Championship—a strong showing that highlighted the depth of Yamaha’s lineup.
The UB150 category brought its share of challenges. EJ “The Android” Sobretodo was unable to finish Race 1 despite a promising start, while April King “The Rocket” Mascardo suffered a heartbreaking DNF in Race 2. Wild card rider Timothy Rojas also missed out on a finish.
Meanwhile, John Emerson Inguito of 4S1M EVO Yamaha Racing Team delivered a standout performance with an impressive 2nd place finish in Race 2, showcasing the potential and depth of Yamaha’s racing program.
