Xiaomi has officially unveiled its latest flagship smartphone lineup—the Xiaomi 12T series composed of the Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro.
The latter breaks the 200MP barrier and is built around the Samsung ISOCELL HP1 sensor that measures 1/1.22 inches. It also comes with features such as Xiaomi ProCut and Ultra Burst and support for 8K video capture in full resolution.
The 12T Pro also comes with an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro cameras.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 12T implements a triple camera array: a 108MP pro-grade primary camera assisted by an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro camera.
The Xiaomi 12T Pro is powered by the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 5G chip and comes with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
It also features a 6.67-inch 2712 x 1220 AMOLED panel with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch-sampling rate, a 20MP in-display selfie camera, dual speakers with professional tuning by Harman Kardon, and MIUI 13 based on Android 12.
The 12T Pro’s 5000mAh battery supports 120W HyperCharge that Xiaomi claims can charge the phone to 100% in just 19 minutes.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 12T is powered by MediaTek’s leading chipset—MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Ultra— which is built on the 5nm TSMC manufacturing process. This is paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.
The 12T sports the same display, battery and charging, OS, and selfie camera as the Pro version. It also has dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, but it’s not tuned by Harman.
The 12T series will be available in three colors: blue, black, and silver. The 12T Pro starts at €749 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, and the 12T starts at €599 with the same configuration.
Pricing and availability of Xiaomi 12T series in the Philippines will be announced soon.
