Kia Philippines has introduced the all-new Kia PV5 Cargo, an all-electric commercial van designed to help businesses transport goods while reducing their reliance on fuel. Unveiled at the 14th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, the van is priced at P2,098,000, with fleet reservations now open nationwide through Kia dealerships.

Named the 2026 International Van of the Year, the PV5 Cargo combines a modern design with a practical cargo area suited for deliveries, distribution, and other commercial operations.

The van can carry up to 805 kilograms of cargo, with a 4,420-liter load space. Its dual-swing rear doors, low loading height, and built-in cargo tie-downs are designed to make loading and securing goods easier. Its compact dimensions (4,695mm long, 1,895mm wide, and 1,905mm high) allows for easy navigation through tight urban streets and narrow loading docks.

Power comes from an electric motor producing 161hp and 250Nm of torque, paired with a 51.5kWh battery. Kia Philippines claims a driving range of up to 384km on a single charge under the NEDC testing standard.

When connected to a compatible DC fast charger, the battery can charge from 10% to 80% in around 30 minutes. Using an 11kW AC wallbox, the same charge level takes approximately four hours and 45 minutes.

The PV5 Cargo can also supply up to 3.6kW of external power through its Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function, which allows users to operate compatible tools, lights, and equipment at job sites.

Safety and convenience features include forward collision avoidance, lane-keeping assistance, smart cruise control, parking distance warnings, and a rear-view monitor. Inside, a 12.9-inch touchscreen supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while USB-C ports help keep devices charged during workdays.

The PV5 Cargo—available in Snow White Pearl, Steel Grey, and Aurora Black Pearl—is supported by ACMobility’s commercial services, including fleet management, charging infrastructure support, mobile assistance, and access to the Evro charging network.
