Queenpin Basketball and Montero Hoops emerged as the Women’s and Men’s champions, respectively, in the vivo 3×3 Basketball Challenge Year 4 after winning the tournament finals held July 12 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.
Queenpin Basketball captured the women’s title with a commanding 21-10 victory over QP 3×3, while Montero Hoops edged Taho Story MFTG Corporation, 20-19, in a tightly contested men’s championship game.
Now in its fourth year, the vivo 3×3 Basketball Challenge continues to provide aspiring and established Filipino basketball players with a national platform to showcase their talent and compete against top teams from across the country. The tournament featured qualifying legs leading to the championship round, where the top teams battled for the season titles.
Champions in both divisions received championship trophies, medals, P30,000 in cash, and the latest vivo V70 smartphones. First, second, and third runners-up were also awarded cash prizes and vivo smartphones.
In the Women’s Division, QP 3×3 finished as first runner-up, followed by Uratex Dream and Kengs Basketball Team. In the Men’s Division, Taho Story MFTG Corporation claimed second place, while Taho Story and SMG Kings completed the podium.
