Not everyone wants the same things from a smartphone. With the new POCO X8s and POCO X8, the brand is offering two options: a compact all-rounder for everyday use and a larger device with a battery built to go the distance.
The POCO X8s is designed for those who want a phone that’s easy to handle without compromising on features. At just 187g and 8.06mm thick, it packs a 6.35-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness.
Its triple-camera setup includes a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP 2.5x telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera.
Under the hood, it runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 platform and houses a 6330mAh battery with 100W HyperCharge support.
The POCO X8, meanwhile, is built for users who prefer a larger display and longer battery life. It features a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen and a massive 8340mAh battery, supported by 67W fast charging and up to 22.5W reverse charging. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor.
Durability is another highlight of the X8, which carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. It also has an Underwater Mode for capturing photos and videos in static freshwater, with a speaker auto-drain feature to help clear out water afterward.
The POCO X8s is available in black, blue, and white, with a First Day Sale from November 6 to 15.
