Cebu continues to strengthen its reputation as one of the country’s leading destinations for tourism, business, and entertainment with the opening of SM Seaside Cebu Arena, a new venue designed to accommodate large-scale concerts, sporting events, and other live productions.
Located within the South Coast City complex along South Road Properties (SRP), the arena is directly connected to SM Seaside City Cebu through a dedicated bridgeway, allowing visitors convenient access between the venue and the mall’s shopping, dining, and leisure facilities.
The arena builds on SM’s experience in developing large event venues in Manila, bringing a similar integrated entertainment concept to the Visayas. As one of the country’s major event venues outside Metro Manila, it expands Cebu’s capacity to host international and local performances, sporting competitions, exhibitions, and other large gatherings.
Aside from providing a new space for live events, the arena is expected to generate economic activity across the region. Large events typically attract visitors from different parts of the country, benefiting hotels, restaurants, transportation providers, retailers, and other local businesses.
