Filipino families looking for more options in electric and hybrid mobility will soon have three new models to consider, as FAWCAR prepares to introduce the Joyee S04, S08, and N09 in Manila on October 22.
Joyee is FAWCAR’s mid-to-high-end new energy vehicle brand, alongside Bestune, which focuses on mid-to-high-end mainstream fuel vehicles. FAWCAR draws on FAW Group’s more than 70 years of automotive experience, with the group having produced and sold over 65 million vehicles. FAWCAR’s two brands have combined cumulative production and sales exceeding 2.2 million units.
The company says it has adapted its vehicles to Philippine conditions, including high temperatures, heavy rainfall, urban traffic, and varied road environments.
The Joyee S04 is a pure electric urban SUV designed for city commutes and weekend trips. It offers a claimed 565km pure electric driving range and energy consumption of 11.8kWh/100km.

Its 2,750mm wheelbase is designed to provide more cabin space, while its 0.248Cd drag coefficient helps reduce aerodynamic resistance. The S04 also features a panoramic glass roof with heat insulation and high-polymer carbon nano-coated battery technology.
For added protection, the model uses a high-strength steel body structure and 2,000MPa ultra-high-strength door anti-collision beams.
The Joyee S08, on the other hand, is a full-size hybrid SUV powered by a 1.5T dedicated hybrid engine. It offers a claimed 210km pure electric range and 1,555km combined range.

FAWCAR lists fuel consumption as low as 3.9L/100km under low battery conditions. Other features include a 9-horizontal and 7-vertical reinforced body structure, an IP68-rated waterproof battery system, and bio-based zero-formaldehyde seats.
Last but not least in the lineup is the Joyee N09, positioned as a B+ flagship coupe available with pure electric and range-extended power options.

It features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P intelligent cockpit platform, a 23-speaker Dolby Atmos audio system, frameless power doors, and nine airbags.
The N09 also features an 800V high-voltage platform and 6C ultra-fast charging, with a claimed 0–100km/h acceleration time of 6.4 seconds.
