Let’s face it—getting around Metro Manila can be a nightmare. But if you’re a commuter in the north, there’s some good news. The newly opened SM North EDSA Busway Concourse offers a much-needed upgrade, making commuting a little less daunting.
The state-of-the-art facility, strategically located in front of SM North EDSA, serves as a crucial interchange along the EDSA Busway, connecting commuters to various transportation options and commercial establishments.

Aligned with the Department of Transportation’s (DOTr) goal of providing a Comfortable, Accessible, Safe, Sustainable, and Affordable (CASSA) transportation system, the concourse features well-lit, covered walkways, ramps, and elevators, ensuring accessibility for all, including senior citizens, pregnant women, and persons with disabilities.

At a February 2025 press conference, newly appointed Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon hailed the SM North EDSA and SM Megamall concourses as “model stations” for its plan to construct dedicated bridgeways for the entire EDSA carousel system.
The EDSA Busway Project is a flagship initiative of the DOTr that aims to enhance mass transit efficiency, safety, and accessibility along Metro Manila’s main thoroughfare.
