Filipinos looking for more flexible ways to pay for everyday purchases may soon have another option. Digital-first fintech company Skyro is expanding beyond purchase financing with SkyroCredit, a reusable credit line designed for daily spending.

The company unveiled its broader financial services direction at “Skyro Mooove!”—a brand event held on October 18 at SM Mall of Asia. The celebration brought together customers, partners, and brand ambassadors Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado.

SkyroCredit offers a credit line of up to P100,000 and supports QR Ph payments at more than one million merchants nationwide. It also features a customizable cashback program that lets customers choose their preferred spending categories each month and earn up to 30% cashback on eligible purchases.

During the event, Skyro also previewed its upcoming SkyroCredit Virtual Card, which is expected to extend the service to online and contactless payments.

The new offering complements Skyro’s existing Product Loans, which help finance larger purchases, and Cash Loans, which provide access to cash. Together, these services aim to cover a broader range of financial needs, from buying household appliances to paying for everyday essentials.

“When we launched Skyro in the Philippines, we set out to make financing more accessible and convenient. Since then, we’ve seen how our customers’ needs go beyond the purchases they plan for. They also need financial solutions that can support their everyday lives,” said Dmitriy Vavulidi, Skyro Head of Product.

“We’re building on what we’ve already achieved by expanding how Filipinos can use Skyro, with SkyroCredit playing an important role in that evolution. Our ambition is to become a financial partner that customers can turn to for more of their needs, whether it’s a major household purchase or something as simple as paying for their daily essentials.”

Since entering the Philippine market in 2022, Skyro has grown to more than 7 million registered users, with over 10,000 partner retail locations and more than 3 million loan transactions facilitated.
