After twelve years of operations, the SM Mall of Asia Arena (MOA Arena) continues to evolve and maintain its status as the premier venue for Manila’s biggest events.

Since its grand opening on June 16, 2012, the team behind this “eye-conic” venue has consistently delivered unforgettable experiences for everyone—from concerts featuring global superstars to international sporting competitions and prestigious award ceremonies.

This success is not only due to world-class events but also to the employees’ dedication to providing excellent customer service—the core of the company’s growth. As the SM MOA Arena looks back on its 12-year success, the company wants to  highlight customer service excellence as its strong foundation.

World-class stage

The iconic eye-shaped facade of the MOA Arena is a fitting symbol for the venue’s vision of delivering “feast for the eye” events. The versatile venue can adapt to a wide range of events, from intimate fan meets to large-scale concerts.

The SM MOA Arena has been undergoing a three-year upgrade program since early 2022 to maintain its world-class standards. Prior to hosting the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup, SM Prime Holdings invested over $10 million to upgrade features such as turnstiles, the scoreboard, Media Mesh, PA system, dugouts, back-of-house rooms, spectator seating, internet connectivity, and 5G capacity. The management is also focused on training and improving personnel to maintain customer service excellence.
