For Filipinos who regularly order meals, groceries, and essentials online, everyday spending can now come with more rewards through the foodpanda Visa credit card from foodpanda Philippines and EastWest.
The foodpanda Visa card lets cardholders earn up to 10% cashback on foodpanda purchases, including meals, groceries, and everyday essentials. Cardholders can also earn 1% cashback on international purchases and 0.3% cashback on everyday spending categories such as groceries, fuel, transportation, and shopping.
The partnership comes as digital payments gain ground on the platform. Online payments already account for 49% of foodpanda orders based on the reported data.
Instead of collecting points or waiting for a redemption period, cashback is automatically credited to the user’s PandaPay wallet every week. It can then be used toward future foodpanda purchases.
Cardholders also get a complimentary six-month PandaPro subscription, which includes access to platform deals, discounts, and delivery perks. The card’s annual fee is waived for the first year.
For added convenience, customers can apply digitally through EastWest’s ESTA chatbot or EasyWay app, allowing them to complete the application without visiting a branch.
