Signify, formerly Philips Lighting, brought together leading architects, designers, and industry professionals at the Light & Beyond event, to explore how lighting innovations can advance sustainability, energy efficiency, and human-centric design.
As the global leader in lighting, Signify reaffirmed its mission to unlock the extraordinary potential of light for brighter lives and a better world.
The event showcased five transformative innovations built around sustainability, digital connectivity, and human-centric design.
Highlights included the Philips UltraEfficient LED, which significantly reduces energy use and carbon footprint; the Interact Connected Lighting System, offering smart, data-driven control for indoor and outdoor environments; and 3D Printed Luminaires made from bio-circular materials for a circular economy.
Attendees also experienced NatureConnect, a circadian lighting system that mimics natural daylight to enhance mood, productivity, and sleep; and Solar Lighting Solutions, which provide zero-energy, off-grid illumination to underserved communities.

“At the heart of everything we do is a deep commitment to sustainable innovation,” said Raghuraman Chandrasekhar, Country Leader for Professional Business, Signify Philippines.
“We design solutions that not only light spaces beautifully but also respect our planet. And when we talk about the future, there’s no ignoring the power of connected lighting and ultra-efficiency, transforming how we manage energy, environments, and experiences. This is a journey we take together with our specifiers. They are not just partners; they are co-creators of the future,” he added.
