HUAWEI is bringing a new portable productivity device to Filipino professionals, entrepreneurs, and creators with the launch of the all-new HUAWEI MatePad Air, which combines a 12-inch OLED display, AI-powered productivity tools, and PC-level performance in a slim, lightweight design.
The tablet is available for pre-order from September 11 to 17. During the pre-order period, the HUAWEI MatePad Air is priced at P59,999, down from its P64,999 SRP. Buyers can also enjoy P5,000 worth of vouchers exclusively on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok., while P6,500 worth of vouchers are available through the HUAWEI Online Store.
Pre-order customers can also receive a bundle of freebies worth up to P33,886, including a Smart Magnetic Keyboard, one-year WPS AI Membership, WPS Office suite, Bluetooth Mouse, and bag. Select bank cards also offer 0% installment plans for up to 24 months.
The MatePad Air comes with a 12-inch 2.8K Ultra-Clear OLED PaperMatte Display, featuring a 144Hz refresh rate, up to 1,200 nits peak brightness, and P3 cinema-grade color gamut. Its 4.69mm bezels provide more screen space, while HUAWEI’s PaperMatte technology uses nano-level etching to reduce glare and reflections and provide a more paper-like surface for writing and drawing.
For productivity, the tablet features a PC-level WPS Office suite with AI capabilities, while HUAWEI Notes uses AI to support information capture and organization. The device can also be paired with a Smart Magnetic Keyboard, Mouse, and M-Pencil Pro as part of a 4-in-1 productivity setup.
The MatePad Air measures just 5.3mm thick and weighs 509g. Its 10,100mAh battery supports up to 18 hours of HDR video playback, while 66W HUAWEI SuperCharge Turbo can replenish the battery in 30 minutes. It also comes with 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, virtual memory expansion of up to 8GB, and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.
