The realme C100 is available in three colors—Glory White, Endurance Brown, and Victory Purple—with realme’s Blooming Design adding a subtle shimmer effect that shifts under different lighting. Our Glory White unit looked particularly refined, giving the phone a clean and stylish appearance.
It’s not a small device by any means. At 219 grams, the C100 feels substantial in hand, but after spending time with it, that weight starts to make sense. realme has clearly prioritized durability, equipping the phone with MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification and IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K protection. In simple terms, it’s built to survive dust, rain, accidental drops, and even high-pressure water exposure and submersion of up to six meters for 30 minutes. It even has an ArmorShell Glass that protects the display. For users who rely on their phones throughout the day, these features add a layer of confidence.
The realme C100 even comes with a Rain Touch Mode. If you’ve ever tried replying to a message while walking in the rain, you’ll appreciate this. The screen remains responsive, making the phone easier to use when the weather takes a turn.
Battery and performance
The phone packs a massive 8,000mAh Titan Battery that easily outlasts most devices in its category. In my experience, it still had about 18% remaining after two days of regular use, which included streaming videos, browsing social media, answering messages, and occasional gaming. For users who are always on the move, that’s a huge advantage.
The good news is that charging doesn’t feel painfully slow despite the large battery. The bundled 45W SUPERVOOC charging can bring the battery to 50 percent in 45-50 minutes, while a short five-minute top-up provides enough power for several hours of calls. There’s also 10W reverse charging that allows the phone to function as an emergency power bank when needed.
The realme C100 also carries a seven-year battery health promise, with claims of up to 80 percent capacity retention after approximately 1,600 charge cycles. It’s a strong claim—one that will only be proven over time.
Under the hood, the realme C100 runs on the MediaTek Helio G92 Max, and it’s important to set expectations early: this is not a performance-focused chipset. It’s designed for essential use cases, and that’s exactly where it performs best.
Everyday tasks such as messaging, browsing, video playback, and social media scrolling remain generally smooth, with realme’s Flux Engine and GT Boost providing a noticeable layer of optimization.
However, the limitations start to show once you push the device harder. Heavier multitasking or more demanding apps can introduce occasional slowdowns, and the experience isn’t as consistently fluid as higher-tier chips. It’s not a performance disaster, but it’s also not a phone that feels built for power users.
Display and audio
The realme C100 comes with a large 6.8-inch LCD display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and peaks at 1,200 nits of brightness. In everyday use, the high refresh rate makes a noticeable difference, delivering smoother scrolling, faster-feeling navigation, and a more fluid overall interface experience.
Outdoor visibility is also generally strong. The bright panel helps the screen remain readable even under direct sunlight, which is useful for users who are often on the go.
The main trade-off is resolution. With an HD+ (1570 × 720) panel and 254ppi density, fine details and text can look softer compared to Full HD displays. However, for typical use cases like streaming, browsing, and gaming, the display still performs well.
Audio is clear and serviceable for calls and video playback, though not particularly rich in bass or depth. Still, for casual media consumption, the overall experience remains practical and enjoyable.
Camera
The realme C100’s camera setup is not its main highlight, but it offers decent versatility for everyday use. It features a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
In good lighting, photos come out clean and detailed enough for social media sharing, with natural-looking colors. However, low-light performance is more limited, with reduced detail and weaker dynamic range indoors and at night.
To make up for this, realme adds AI editing tools like AI Eraser and Unblur, plus creative modes such as Panorama, Time-Lapse, and Underwater Photography for more flexible shooting options.
Speed says
The realme C100 is clearly built with durability in mind, making it a strong fit for users who value long-lasting performance over raw speed. It shines in everyday use thanks to its massive 8,000mAh battery, 45W fast charging, and rugged MIL-STD-810H and IP69-rated protection. These features make it reliable for heavy users and those frequently on the go.
However, the trade-offs are noticeable. The MediaTek Helio G92 Max offers only modest performance, the HD+ display lacks sharpness, and the camera system is fairly basic.
At full price, the realme C100 is priced at P16,999 (4GB+256GB) and P19,999 (8GB+256GB), but the ongoing promo until June 30 changes the equation. At P11,195 and P14,000, respectively, the device becomes considerably more attractive in terms of value.,
