Keeping track of one’s health can often fall by the wayside amid busy daily routines. With more Filipinos looking for simple ways to stay on top of their well-being, mWell—the Philippines’ health and wellness mega app by Metro Pacific Health Tech Corporation—has introduced the mWell ECG Ring, the country’s first wellness ring with built-in electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring.

The new device builds on the success of the original mWell Ring, which was launched in May 2024 as the first smart wellness ring in the Philippine market. Said wearable helped introduce a more accessible approach to health tracking, particularly through sleep and lifestyle data. The ring tracks light, deep, REM, and total sleep, while generating a daily mWellness Score that gives users a clear snapshot of their overall health.

The new mWell ECG Ring expands these capabilities by adding everyday heart monitoring. According to Chaye Cabal-Revilla, President and CEO of mWell and Chief Finance, Risk, and Sustainability Officer of MPIC, users can now view ECG results directly on the mWell app and easily share them with doctors via PDF file for timely medical advice. Health records can also be securely stored in the mWell Health ID, supporting continuity of care over time.

The mWell ECG Ring features ECG, heart rate, blood oxygen, and sleep monitoring, housed in a lightweight titanium design with IP68 water resistance and a seven-day battery life.

The mWell ECG Ring is priced at P12,999 for its introductory release (regular price: P13,999) and offered without subscription fees. It is now available through the mWell app’s eShop or online.
