Michelin is strengthening its distribution network in the Philippines as it looks to meet growing demand across passenger vehicles, commercial transportation, and industrial and off-road applications.
The tire maker said its expanded distribution ecosystem will bring more specialized expertise and customer support to different segments, including automotive dealerships, vehicle owners, logistics operators, contractors, and businesses in construction, mining, and agriculture.
Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, Michelin is aligning its distribution network with the specific needs of customers and how they operate and maintain their vehicles and equipment. The expanded ecosystem will complement the company’s existing importer-distributor network while improving overall market coverage.
The move comes as the Philippines sees continued growth in vehicle ownership, logistics, infrastructure activity, and industrial investment. Michelin said these developments are creating opportunities across passenger mobility, commercial transportation, and beyond-road operations.
For passenger vehicle customers, the strengthened network is expected to improve access to vehicle-specific tire fitments through dealership networks. Commercial operators can benefit from more specialized technical and fleet support, while industrial and off-road customers can access application-specific expertise for demanding operating environments.
