Lenovo unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona 2022 its new portfolio of mainstream consumer products, among them the Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5i and IdeaPad Flex 5 convertible laptops.

The IdeaPad Flex 5i features up to 12th-gen Intel Core i5 U-series processor and Intel Iris Xe MAX graphics, while the IdeaPad Flex 5 is powered with up to AMD Ryzen 3 processor with built-in Radeon graphics.

A 360-degree hinge enables multiple modes including laptop to tablet mode, or stand to tent mode, while its drop-down hinge design allows the keyboard to slightly lift when opening the laptop for a more comfortable typing experience. It’s a feature that also helps to focus the user’s field of view above the bottom bezel for a roomy 90 percent active screen area.

These 2-in-1s are equipped with up to 2.8K 16:10 display on offer with an OLED option. They also promise better contrast and fuller viewing angles with up to 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut and 400 nits brightness. They’re TÜV-certified for low blue light technology, while Lenovo Eye Care software helps you choose the ideal light setting.

The IdeaPad Flex 5 and 5i come with Smart Learning features from Lenovo, such as flip to start, Smart Power, and Smart Noise Cancelling that help tunes out background chatter, plus an upgraded FHD webcam with privacy shutter.

These new IdeaPads feature a slimmer, lighter build than previous models and are offered in a selection of calming hues. To jot down ideas in tablet mode, simply use the latest optional Lenovo Digital Pen8, which is capable of capturing any color from real-life objects easily.
