Calling all gamers! Infinix will be hosting a two-day Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) tournament called “Guard Your Goddess Miya.” A cash prize of P50,000 and Infinix NOTE 30 5G units will be up for grabs for the winning team.
The tournament will feature a regular 5v5 MLBB game, but with a twist. Each team is required to protect and guard their goddess, or Miya player, and ensure that they don’t die while attacking the enemy base.
Registration is from June 6 to June 13. No registration fee is required.
The tournament is is open to all-male, all-female, or mixed teams of players 18 years old and above, residing in Metro Manila and Greater Metro Manila. They also have to be ranked Epic and above in MLBB.
Each team must submit a unique team name and must consist of five members. Both amateur and former pro players may join, with each team having a maximum of two former pros.
Teams will also get the chance to choose an Infinix chief gaming officer (CGO)—Kristine, Cherizawa, and Yskaela—that they want to team up with as their Goddess during the final round.
The online semifinals will happen on June 18, and will be a best-of-three round. Infinix CGOs will also be playing for one round.
The top three teams will move on to the Grand Finals on June 25, which will be held in Market! Market! They will get the chance to play in a showmatch with their chosen Infinix CGO. The champion will be awarded a cash prize of P50,000, Goddess Protector medals, and Infinix NOTE 30 5G units.
