Lightweight, slim, and designed for real-life messes, the new Dyson PencilWash is Dyson’s latest answer to everyday wet cleaning—without the bulk many homeowners have come to expect.

The PencilWash introduces a pencil-thin format that measures just 38mm in diameter. Weighing only 2.2kg—380g in hand—it’s built to feel almost effortless as it glides across floors. A simple twist of the wrist steers it naturally, while its ability to lie flat up to 170 degrees makes it easy to clean under sofas, beds, and other low furniture.

What makes it especially appealing is its focus on hygiene. Unlike conventional wet-and-dry cleaners that rely on filters prone to trapping dirt and breeding odor-causing bacteria, the PencilWash features a filter-free design. That means no sludge buildup, fewer blockages, and consistent performance over time.

It’s engineered to handle wet spills and dry debris in one go. A high-density microfiber roller—packed with 64,000 filaments per square centimeter—spins rapidly to lift messes from the floor. An eight-point hydration system continuously feeds fresh water onto the roller, while dirty water is extracted with every rotation. The result: floors cleaned with fresh water from start to finish.

With two hydration modes, users can adjust moisture levels depending on the task, from light splashes to stubborn stains. A 300mL tank covers up to 100sqm—roughly the size of a typical two- to three-bedroom condo in the metro—on a 30-minute charge.
