In partnership with Huawei, GCash is bringing wearable payments to the Philippines, turning your smartwatch into a wallet you can wear.
Here’s how to activate Watch Pay:
- Open the GCash app on your Huawei smartwatch.
- Tap “Link.”
- Scan the QR code using your Huawei or Android phone.
- Tap “Bind” and enter the code provided.
- Confirm your device to complete linking.
How to use it:
- On your smartwatch, go to Settings > Payments.
- Tap “Open GCash.”
- A QR code will appear.
- Let the cashier scan the code—and you’re done!
Watch Pay works with Huawei Watch Ultimate, Watch 4/5 Series, Watch Fit 3/4, Watch GT 4/5, Band 10, and Watch D2 2.
