Food has always been at the heart of Filipino gatherings—from caldereta shared at family reunions to fruit salad gracing Noche Buena.

For a century, one brand has shaped these moments of togetherness: Del Monte Philippines. In 2026, the company celebrates 100 years of providing not just food, but a legacy of care, sustainability, and shared progress.

Growing goodness from the ground up

Del Monte’s story began in the fertile fields of Bukidnon, where more than 30,000 hectares of farmland have been cultivated over generations.

While the company is best known for its pineapples, its century-long stewardship has also fostered a culture of sustainability. Today, Del Monte’s plantation is carbon-negative, thanks to initiatives such as planting over 700,000 trees, recycling water, and protecting soil health.

These efforts reinforce the company’s belief that nourishment begins at the source: when the land is cared for, everything it grows can nourish goodness.

Nourishing people and communities

Equally central to Del Monte’s story are the 24,000 men and women—generations of farmers and workers—who make up the Del Monte Family. Beyond providing livelihoods, the company has built a self-sustaining community with free housing, schools, a hospital, and recreational facilities for employees and their families.

Through the Del Monte Foundation, its care reaches over 200,000 people in 100+ barangays. Since 1994, livelihood programs have trained 17,000 individuals, while its School Development Program has built 17 classrooms, assisted 204 schools, and donated 8,000 chairs and learning kits. Its Scholarship Program has produced more than 1,700 high school and college graduates and continues to support 300 scholars—proof that Del Monte’s impact is rooted in shared progress.

Del Monte in every Filipino home

Del Monte has long been a household staple, from 100% Pineapple Juice with PiñaPhyto5 to Tomato Sauce enriched with vitamins and Pineapple Tidbits packed with fiber.

Innovations continue with Mr. Milk, Potato Crisp, and Fruity Zing, offering nutritious, flavorful options for modern Filipino households.

Meanwhile, Del Monte Kitchenomics—once a beloved TV show—has evolved into a vibrant online community that continues to inspire Filipino home cooks.

A century of celebration and collaboration

To mark its centennial, Del Monte unveils its Centennial Packaging Refresh—a bold, vibrant update symbolizing 100 years of trust, innovation, and goodness.

The celebration includes partnerships that reflect the Filipino spirit of Kaayo, or the goodness that uplifts and connects.

Disney-themed Del Monte Spaghetti Sauce brings a touch of magic to households through a promo rewarding 100 families with all-expense-paid trips for four to Hong Kong Disneyland.

The UNIQLO x Del Monte “Wear the Goodness” collection features UTMe! shirts and tote bags inspired by the brand’s iconic colors, available from November 21, 2025 to May 31, 2026 in select Mega Manila, Cebu, Davao, and CDO stores, alongside exclusive UNIQLO x Del Monte Coffee served at UNIQLO Coffee Manila and MOA from November 21 to 30.

Meanwhile, Jamba Juice x Del Monte donates P5 to Del Monte’s farming communities for every Aloha Pineapple smoothie or Piña Colada refresher purchased from November 3 to December 31.\

The Kaayo Film

The centerpiece of the centennial celebration is The Kaayo Film, a tribute to a century of nourishing goodness. “Kaayo,” meaning goodness, traces Del Monte’s roots in Bukidnon and honors the generations of farmers and families whose care helped this legacy reach Filipino homes.

As Del Monte turns 100, it remains a testament to the power of care—of land, of people, and of communities—proving that food, when nurtured with purpose, can truly nourish for generations.
