Cisco has introduced Cisco Cloud Control, a unified platform designed to help organizations manage, monitor, and defend critical IT infrastructure at machine speed in an emerging “agentic AI” world.
The platform—announced at the recent Cisco Live conference in Las Vegas, Nevada—delivers a single view of Cisco networking, security, compute, observability, and collaboration in one secure environment. People and agents work from a single data layer, sharing the same operational context and the same system of action, while humans stay in control.
It also allows customers to build custom applications and AI agents using natural language, and integrates with a broad ecosystem including AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud (now including Wiz), ServiceNow, PagerDuty, Slack, Linear, and others.
“AI agents reason and act continuously at software speed, and that changes everything about how we scale, manage, and defend our critical infrastructure,” said Jeetu Patel, President and Chief Product Officer, Cisco. “Cisco Cloud Control is a command center for agentic AI: a platform where your team and your AI agents work together, in the same environment, with the same information, and with humans in control.”
The platform introduces several core capabilities, including cross-domain telemetry that unifies data across IT systems, and purpose-built models such as Cisco’s Deep Network Model, trained on decades of operational data. It also features trusted AI agents that can detect issues, identify root causes, test fixes, and verify recovery, all within governed workflows.
Cisco AI Canvas enables collaborative, real-time troubleshooting between operators and agents, while Cloud Control Studio lets users build agents and applications through natural language tools and publish them to a marketplace.
Alongside the platform, Cisco is expanding its security capabilities for the AI era. These include Live Protect, which provides real-time vulnerability shielding without downtime, and a Hybrid Mesh Firewall that extends protection across networks and third-party systems.
Cisco is also advancing quantum-safe infrastructure, with new protections expected across its portfolio by December 2026, and new tools like Quantum Ready Assessments launching in 2026 to help organizations prepare for future threats.
Cisco Cloud Control is now in controlled availability in the United States, with global rollout to follow.
