Budget-friendly Cherry Mobile Aqua 5G series launched, priced

Cherry Mobile has introduced its first two 5G phones in the market—the Cherry Mobile Aqua S10 Pro 5G and Aqua SV.

The Aqua S10 Pro 5G comes with a large 6.78-inch LCD FHD+ screen (2460 x 1080), 20:5:9 aspect ratio, and a top-center punch-hole with a 16MP selfie camera.

It’s powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 with Mali-G57 MC2 (950MHz) GPU, 4GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB UFS 2.2 expandable storage.

Its 5000mAh battery supports USB-C 18W fast charging and 10W wireless charging.

For cameras, this budget 5G device is equipped with a 48MP main shooter with 5MP depth + 2MP macro + 2MP mono cameras. Housed in the punch-hole is a 16MP front shooter.

Meanwhile, the Cherry Mobile Aqua SV sports a Gorilla Glass 5-protected 6.6-inch FHD+ (2400 x 1080) AMOLED curved edge display, 20:9 aspect ratio, and in-display fingerprint scanner.

The pill-shaped punch-hole on top houses the 16MP + 2MP selfie cameras.

Under the hood, the Aqua SV has a 2.4GHz octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB UFS 2.2 expandable storage.

It has a slightly smaller 4200mAh battery but supports a better USB-C 30W PE 2.0 fast charging tech.

This device sports a four-camera array composed of a 64MP main shooter + 5MP wide + 2MP depth + 2MP macro cameras. 

The Aqua S10Pro 5G comes in an Astral Gray glossy finish and retails for P7,999.

Meanwhile, the Aqua SV has a leather-like back design in a Luxe Green colorway and has a sticker price of P11,999 (P9,999 May 8 Shopee sale price).
